Indian Hill
http://www.ci.indian-hill.oh.us/
This is the area's most exclusive and priciest community. Settled in 1795 and incorporated in 1941, Indian hill was once a farming area. Today, it still has some working farms, though the majority of residences are sprawling estates and mansions on vast, rolling tracts of land. Many of these elegant, executive homes are hidden from view on heavily wooded lots. Some have added amenities, such as horse barns and tennis courts. A proposed $45-million development, to be built on the Peterloon estate, will feature homes in the $2-$5.5 million range. The school system is highly regarded and recreational opportunities are excellent. More than 2,000 acres of wooded areas are village-owned to preserve the idyllic atmosphere. Indian Hill has its own water supply, fine police and fine protection; also its own public works department for waste disposal and road maintenance. It is home to Cincinnati Day Country School, an independent, coed school; also to Armstrong Chapel (A United Methodist Church founded in 1798), which is unique in that Episcopal and Presbyterian denominations worship here together.
